Today

Adelle was being so happy and smiley so I took a bunch of pictures trying to get the smile on camera. I didn't get a smile (my camera takes a long time to get ready for another shot :( but I did get some great snap shots. I also got a few good ones of her lifting her head. She can hold her head up for a few seconds at a time. In the one picture she decided to lift her head even higher than usual right as I took the picture!

While I was taking pictures of Adelle Caleb was being silly, so I caught a few of him as well. He was trying out Jake's Knight costume.

This was our Trick-or-treat crew (minus Wyatt, who is hiding behind Grandma Kare bear and Janice and I). This year it was actually nice outside for trick-or-treating. No snow! We loved it.

I just think that Adelle's pea costume is so dang cute, but it is hard to get a great picture of the cuteness. So one last one of Adelle as she looked to those we ran into out in the neighborhood during candy rounds.

Mommy Extras

(I don't often write lists on my blog, but my cousins often do and I always enjoy reading their lists. So, may this be the first of many.)

Little 'extras' I love about being a mom list:
  • Baby wipes!! Not just for the diaper bag, they clean up everything!!
  • Kid's songs. Just being silly or trying to learn? Put it to a tune!
  • Time to read while feeding the baby.
  • An always valid and true excuse to get off the phone.
  • Children's books. 'nough said.
  • Goldfish crackers and Teddy Grahms
  • Snuggles
  • Children's Discovery Museums. I think They build those for the moms, not the kids.
  • Cupcakes at Birthday parties
  • Alphabet and number magnet on the refrigerator.
  • The most recent art masterpiece on the refrigerator.

Two Months

At two months old Adelle is 10 # 4 oz. and is 22 in. long. I like to call her my sweet pea sometimes. She generally sleeps most of the night now, but her sleep schedule is still very irregular. Caleb sure loves her, he likes to call her 'Dell' or 'Ellie'. He is a wonderful big brother.

Don't forget...

While we were still in Utah, my aunt Merrilee took us to the children's discovery museum in Salt Lake. Caleb just loved it.

So, this morning we were playing with Caleb's cars. Caleb knew that he had to put all of the cars in the car bucket before he could get some different toys out, so he put all of his toys in the bucket. It is just that he chose the wrong one, all of the cars fit into the bigger car bucket (the one back by the couch). What a silly boy!

Grandma's House

(Adelle, Emily, and Sherri all wore that dress)

We have had a great visit to Utah!
