19 Weeks
Someday...
For now, it is nice not to have to find a place to keep one in my very full cupboards. I am just great with the microwave variety for now.
Someday I will have a yoga mat to use with all my yoga videos. Honestly, I do yoga often enough to justify getting myself one.
For now I am just not spending money on those kinds of wants. Though, a mat would be much better than my carpet when I do squats or warrior poses.
Someday I will have the perfect 'mommy car'. Automatic transmission. Room for car seats, automatic windows, CD player. Automatic transmission. Plenty for space in the back for strollers and groceries. You know the type. Did I mention Automatic transmission?
For now, well, it is really nice to not have a car payment. I can survive longer with my little stick shift.
Someday I will have a little girl to dress up. Dresses and hair pretties and pink. That's right someday I will have a little girl. (Hey, maybe that day is coming up soon. Honestly, I don't have any 'mother's intuition' as to what I will be having this August. We find out soon though...)
For now, I really do enjoy all that boy stuff. Cars and blue and all that. Boy stuff is fun too.
Wishful thinking? Forward thinking? Living within our means? Call it whatever you want.

What Does Devin Do When He is Away
On March 3, my brother rented a 100 foot lift to finish cutting down the trees in Roberts.
On Thursday, March 4, my friend Steve, my brother Trent, Jesus the Mexican, and myself started working on bringing down the rest of the trees. We worked on them from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. or later all week. My brother and his wife had planned to take a trip all this past week leaving me in charge of finishing the trees. Needless to say, with lots of pain and a few near death experiences, Jesus, Steve, and I worked from sunup to sundown for the past week to cut down the trees.
After having two chainsaws carburetors rebuilt, one flat tire on the skid loader, a 42,000 pound roadblock, that we had to have pulled just about anywhere we needed it, and one new chain for a chainsaw, we finished the job. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt, the lift didn't collapse, and the skid loader ran fine we finished with the trees on Friday, March 12. To celebrate we had a huge bonfire to show for all of our hard work. I am thankful that I am able to work even if it is cutting down trees.

Painting with Sarah
These last few days Caleb and I have been in Utah. It was a different sort of trip because my mom wasn't in town when we got there and Devin wasn't with us. Saturday when we arrived Sarah was working on a painting project for school. Naturally Caleb wanted in on something as fun and intriguing as painting, and Sarah happily complied. She even let him use her fancy art supplies. It was very cute, he would paint for half a minute then hold the paintbrush out to Sarah for a new color. (I have been noticing that he has been favoring his left hand lately, though not 100% of the time...)
It's True
A pregnancy ticker and poll have been posted to the right hand sidebar. I have an ultrasound scheduled for the end of this month, so come see our blog again to find out what we will be having.
(I am fairly certain that most of Devin's family already suspects that I am pregnant. Pregnancy is harder to hide from people you see regularly. Also I will be seeing half of my family this weekend and I don't exactly look like I normally do, I have been wearing maternity pants for a few weeks now...So it is time to just say, yes we are expecting ;)
Birthday
Going and going and going and going
I have no explanation for this. It is just something that Caleb does. Alot.
