Just being cute

For a boy who loves dice Grandma sent the perfect thing - big dice! I think that Caleb looks so grown up in that picture.

These videos are not as good as real life. Caleb is always silly if he knows he is on camera, so i have to get most stuff kandid. However to get his little signing and showing the different parts of his face i did the best I could. Of course he does better when there is no camera, but you get the idea.

Frost

When the days (not just mornings) are so cold that everything is just covered in frost it is easy to get caught up in being frustrated with having to bundle up and scrape the windshield. With all that frustration it is easy to miss the beauty that also comes with the frost. Honestly, the trees only look like that when it is really really cold outside.

Dear Grandma

Dear Grandma,
Lately I have been getting into everything. I love to take all of the measuring cups and measuring spoons out of the drawer and scatter them around the kitchen floor. Speaking of the kitchen floor, today I pulled the rug up from in front of the fridge and discovered this cool blue thing. Mommy came back while I was exploring its possibilities. I could see her right through it. I still love my toy cars. I like to pick them up one by one and place them side by side in a row. They look cool that way.
Love, Caleb

Happy New Year

It is the new year and I haven't blogged in a long time. I spent the first two weeks of December finishing up classes, all in all the busiest time of the semester. Then we went to Utah for the holidays. Devin and I had a chance to hit the slopes together, a first time for us (thanks dad!). We had a very merry Christmas and a wonderful visit with my family.

Now that we are back in Rexburg it is on to new things. Devin is keeping busy by working with his brother on some trailer homes out in Roberts. I have started teaching in a 3-day a week preschool. I love preschool. Caleb has been saying more and more words. He likes to draw-he is trying to draw on my back at this very moment, and he loves dice. We can't get him to put his dice down.

Now that I am out of school I will have to get back to regular blogging.
