Well, the blog has been renovated. Blogger is changing, and it was time for something new. All the same stuff is there, it is just moved around and there is a different background.
Speaking of background, it is PINK. Getting all ready for a baby girl over here. Just when I think I am ready I discover more that I need to or want to do before baby comes. I know, I know, she will come when she is ready. Good thing too, because I don't think I will be able to know when I am ready for her!
Caleb has become a daddy's boy. 'I want daddy' he says. Ok. The problem is he is stuck with me all day while daddy works.
I have been a wee bit emotional lately. Ok, strike that, I have been super emotional lately. About everything. I cried singing a pioneer hymn in church yesterday. I will spare you the other details. Pretty much I am emotional over everything. Yeah.
Before leaving the emotional subject, I have made some changes to the playlist on this blog. For awhile I have had some sweet daddy/son songs on there. (Maybe no one noticed or even listened, but that is beside my point.) Well getting ready for a daughter means some daddy/daughter songs too. And, well, not to be left out, there is a mommy song also. But I don't know how long I will leave the mommy song up first on the list because it makes me cry every time. Already talked about the emotional mess I have been no need to rehash. I do think that anyone would really enjoy it, so take a couple of minutes and listen. I am talking about the Hands song by Nickle Creek.
Anyone read anything good lately? I have been on a reading slum for awhile. I just don't know what to read. Taking suggestions here. Besides I want a good book to read while I am in the hospital, whenever that is.
July Tidbits
We went camping again the second weekend of July with Devin's family. I didn't hike this time. Caleb was just loving 'helping' me get all packed and ready for the trip. Can't you tell?
This semester Devin has been doing what is called the IBC. In IBC they plan, start, run, and close a business. The company that Devin has been part of was called Ultimate Idol. They put on a series of 3 shows and sold tickets. Caleb and I went to the final show, and it was really great. Below is Caleb practicing taking the prize money to the winner, but when it actually came time to do that at the end of the show Caleb chickened out. Maybe next time...
On Saturday my friends threw a baby shower for me. Everyone is so nice and generous. I still think that this diaper cake is super dang cute, so y'all take a look.
Also, my friend Adele (left) just returned from her mission in Chile. With Amanda (right) back from her mission and now married, and me married and with almost 2 kids. The three of us haven't been together for a long time, but as college freshman we were great friends. It was wonderful to be together again!
This is a new blue chair that I was given at the baby shower, but Caleb loves it. Maybe he will let me have a turn in the chair after the baby is here?
And, last but not least, we are enjoying our Idaho summer. Days have been hot these last couple of weeks, but we get along.
Buttons 'n Bows
When I found out I would be having a little girl I started going nuts with projects! I was given a sewing machine for Christmas, so I was all set!!! My projects have included girl-y spit clothes, baby booties, fitted crib sheets (Pink of course), and Little Girl Hair Clips. Below is a sampling of my projects. (sorry no crib sheet pictures ;) Really I have had so much fun getting ready for my own little girl!

That last picture includes the display I made for selling my bows 'n bugs in my neighbor's hair salon. The pink flower to the side is a clip for holding the price list. Any family and friends that want to buy one can have a family and friends discount, so call me up!
