As you can see, Caleb has learned to use the computer mouse all by himself. I have mixed feelings about this. Let me explain.Drawbacks--
-When Caleb is on the computer mommy can't be on the computer.
-When Caleb sees mommy on the computer he wants to be on the computer.
-All the time he is on the computer is time that he is not playing other-where. (You know, like anywhere but in front of a screen...)
The up side--
-I have finally identified for sure that he is right handed. He hasn't ever even tried to use the mouse with his left hand.
-He is practicing all the motor skills required for using a mouse. Have you ever stopped to think about how coordinated you have to be to do that??
-I was available to take these smile pictures of Adelle :) She has turned into quite the smiley girl! A sure way to get a smile from her is to look at her and say 'Hi Adelle!'. She just loves that.

My mom hates to work on the computer when my brother is home because every 2 minutes--my turn now. But the girls love the computer too. But they are learning that daddy's homework trumps their games.

Lyvia loves to play the computer, too. PBS kids is usually her favorite place to play games. I have a timer by the computer and set it for 20 minutes- when it goes off it's time to play somewhere else. Works for us...try it and see if Caleb goes for it! :)
